Q: Hi, I'm trying to make a Mari Lwyd costume, and am trying to work out if I should get this, or the skeleton buck head.
How hard would it be for me to slice off the unicorn horn, is it just latex? I don't actually need to wear it as a mask, I'd be attaching it to a stick and hiding under a sheet at the back?
This is the weirdest question I think I have ever asked anyone, but I figure you guys are the experts.

That is a fantastic Mari Lwyd project, and yes, the mask is made of molded latex, so the horn could be cut with a sharp blade the same way you'd trim any latex prop. Since you're mounting it on a pole rather than wearing it, you also won't need to worry about the elastic straps or the jaw mechanism, though those are built in if you ever change your mind.
