Figure in Shadows
It might be the character quietly sneaking into the tavern under the cover of a long hooded cloak. However, it could be how that same cloak helps them blend into a shadowy corner, leaving just their eyes easily distinguished by the light of a mostly-melted, flickering candle. Or maybe it's a dramatic entrance followed by a flourish of their hood thrown back, revealing a face we've either been expecting or missing.
Whichever way, we're completely drawn into the fantasy tale unfolding before us. And when it's our turn to bring the character to life for cosplay, Halloween, or playtime, there's one thing for sure. We need a cloak that gives us the same mysterious aura!
