PURE FILTH!!!

Readers of the fancy dress blog will know that everyday we are coming up with the weird, the wonderful and the downright strange. The unusual really is everyday to us!    Well I was talking to a customer recently about one of our new products and they were absolutely amazed.
 
Pure Filth is a new range that we have developed to make clothing dirty without damaging the costume.  The product comes in 8 colours and is in the form of a waxy stick (imagine a really dirty deodorant stick and you'll have some idea). 
 
When filming costumes can be worn for weeks (even months for some major feature films), so costumes have to be cleaned whilst on location.  Once cleaned wardrobe staff use continuity photos to re-create the layers of dirt.  If you want to make something muddy you could rub a costume in
the dirt, but there is no guarantee that this will not damage the costume, no guarantee that the stain will come out and just imagine having to re-create the same stains after it has rained or you have moved to another area!

We set a boffin to work to come up with a new range of crayons, soft enough for our customers to use and in the colours that our customers would need.  So far the feedback has been phenomenal and there has been a lot of interest from the Amateur world as well.
