Nativity
Remember when we were kids and the school decided it was time to put on the Nativity Play, you wanted to be Joseph or Mary, but yet a again that part went to one of the really popular kids? No? Just me then…The horror continued when mum had to make the costume (and you knew she was not interested), you ended up with a bit of raggedy old sheet and tea-towel strapped to your head with industrial knicker-elastic. And they expected you to come up with a convincing Shepherd performance in that outfit?
All was made worse because Joseph had a Mum who was a wizard with a needle and just ran up this little number encrusted with bespoke embroidery putting the rest of us in the shade.

So why should your little one suffer, or perhaps (more to the point) why should you have to go to all the faff of making something when we have them all ready to go! We have the Angel and the star. Naturally there are the 3 wise men, a shepherd with the cutest sheep (or is it a lamb). Naturally you could not have a Manger scene without a donkey and a camel. Last but not least (if your children have reached the heady heights in Nativity Play casting and they have bagged the top role then you will want a Mary or Joseph costume.
Either way we all hope you have a very merry Christmas.
