DIY School Of Horror!

I once worked in a school, it was horrific! Great inspiration for our School of horrors costumes, part of our DIY Halloween Costume Collection!  This is part of a collection of 22 Halloween Costumes that have been given our horror make up treatment for both the faces and the costumes.  Each look comes with step by step instructions.

We selected our school boy and girl costumes for the DIY treatment as the boy is not really a costume, just a cap and tie, the girl is a full costume.  This shows that you can add the tortured twist to just a couple of items or to a whole costume and still get a great effect.  To start with our models got dressed in the costumes, for the school boy we added a pair of cut off jeans and a white shirt that we were going to throw out.

1 .  The school boy look starts with a nice black eye.  This is made using either a bruise wheel (a set of grease-paints) or our set of water colours.  To see how you build up a simple bruise follow this link to our black eye guidelines.

2. Blooding up the costume is easy, just put blood on your hands and wipe away, alternatively use a make up sponge.  TOP TIP: we squeezed the blood out onto a plate, and used this as a palate.  The bottle of blood is only small, but this really does go a long way!  Our model also dipped his hands in the blood and made hand-prints on his shirt.  We added a couple of plasters to his face, just for the hell of it!

3.  Our badly behaved school girl cut holes in her stockings,we suggest that you cut a small hole and pull the edges a little, it will run.   Then add blood to the stockings and, if you wish, to the costume.

4.  Finally, our school girl added our custom fangs, these are remarkable teeth caps.  They are supplied with products that shape them to fit.  They come with easy to follow instructions.  You can take a look at our fang fitting guidelines by following this link.  As you can see our blood can even be used inside the mouth, nasty touch there!

Please note these are DIY costumes - the costume you are ordering is clean, not ripped and in unused condition. To achieve the look you will need to retain the accessories that are added to your basket so that when the item arrives you can Do It Yourself.
