DIY Halloween Pirate Csotumes
We keep telling people when they come into our Shaftesbury Avenue shop that these looks are easy to achieve, some of them look a bit confused; so the only way to prove it to them is to show them! We have gathered a collection of 22 Halloween Costumes (many of them couples) all with horror make up. As the annoying Meerkat says SIMPLES!

Get into the costumes before your start your make up, who cares if you get make up on your costume, it will look great.
1. Apply Old Age Pancake Makeup with a damp sponge (if you would like to see our Pancake Guide follow this link). Do not worry if you cannot get the finish smooth, it actually looks better a bit patchy for this effect.
2. Add a little blood beside the eye to look like a tear, using the dropper attached to the blood bottle. TOP TIP: only add a tiny bit of blood, it is so thick that it takes quite a while to drip down - a little goes a long way.
3. Both costumes have used a Dirt Bag. This remarkable product has only been available to the film industry, it is make-up for clothing! The soft fabric bag has a powder inside and as you dab the bag against the clothing it makes it look old, dusty and dirty.
4. Our male models look is finished off with a pair of eye accessories, first he read through the instructions (as you must do) and then popped them in.
Please note these are DIY costumes - the costume you are ordering is clean, not ripped and in unused condition. To achieve the look you will need to retain the accessories that are added to your basket so that when the item arrives you can Do It Yourself.
