Smoking is bad for you Guidelines

One of our staff often has this cigarette burn on the side of their head, because they have been demonstrating it, not because someone has stubbed their cigarette out on them! So we have put together these guidelines to help the more inquisitive customers out! We have used the Angels Cut Kit, Spirit gum and remover, the palette, a cigarette and a tea-bag.

Empty tobacco out from a cigarette by gently rubbing it between your fingers, you need to leave the paper near the filter intact. A little bright red lipstick on the filter tip is a nice touch, if you want to do this now is the time, thoroughly coat your lips in soft lipstick and then put the cigarette in your mouth. Rip off just over half the empty cigarette paper and stub the cigarette out, bending the stub slightly. Use spirit gum both on the end of the cigarette and on the skin. Wait until the two surfaces become tacky and put the stub in position, hold until dry.

Peel and roll some wax from the cut kit (these instructions can be found as step 1 and 2 of our Bullet Wound Guidelines).

Take the rolled sections of wax an position them all the way around the base of the glued on cigarette, then with a tiny bit of moisturize on your finger work around the outside edge to blend the wax into the skin.

Add some bruising around the wound using our palette of water colours. More information about bruising can be found on our black eye page.

An impression of burning and ash can be created by adding a small sprinkle of tea (from a tea bag, loose tea can be too large) this will stick to the surface of the wax.

Finished
Finally add a small amount of blood (included in the cut kit). This will run out of the wound, so do not add too much.

Removal
To remove scrape the wax away with the spatula, any moisturiser or cleansing cream will remove any residue of wax, finally wash with soap and water. Clean away any spirit gum residue with spirit gum remover.
