back buttonDevil Horn Guidelines

These horns are a massive seller at Halloween, they are made of soft rubbery foam, they are lightweight and easy to wear.  You will need to stick them to clean dry skin.  Some of our staff at our Central London Store wear these on the days where we dress up for Halloween and they are in them for 12 hours!

Hold the horn in position on clean dry skin and then using a powder puff or cotton wool dab around the edges of the horn with fixing powder (or talcum powder will do) to mark where it will go.

2
Apply a layer of glue to the clean area of skin marked out by the powder.

AND

Add glue to the bottom of the horn.  The glue goes on kind of watery, leave both areas of glue to become tacky.  Then press the horn in position and support whilst it finishes drying.

Finished!

You could make up the face red, or whatever effect you desire, below we have an optional extra to make it look a little more gorey!

004Addwax.jpg4 Optional Steps
Using the wax, tool and blood supplied in our cut kit roll out a section of wax and add this all around the base of the horn (you can find out more about this by using steps 1 and 2 of our BULLET HOLE GUIDELINES).  Once you have taken the wax all the way around the base of the horns blend it in with a tiny bit of moisturizer (just enough to stop the wax sticking to your fingers).

Add blood, here we have just added a small amount of blood to the horn base.  You could paint the horns all over with blood if you prefer!

Removal:  Scrape the wax away with the tool, soak a piece of cotton wool in the glue remover, and work under the edge of the horn, gently lifting it away from the skin.  You are advised not to simply pull the horns off.  Then clean the skin up with the glue remover.  Any residue will then wash away.  Wash the blood off the skin with warm soapy water.
