Many of our customers know that Angels Fancy Dress is part of Angels the Costumiers. The Costumiers side of our company supplies costumes to the Entertainment Industry and they dress productions large and small all over the world!
Many people associate fancydress.com with the fantastic collection of packet costume that we sell, but we also have access to the film stock and you can hire them for your party or event!
| To see a selection of our hire costumes simply click onto the hire button. As this is such a personal service it is not possible to hire over the Internet, but you can express an interest in a costume and one of our staff will come back to you to let you know availability. We have just over 8 miles of costume rails in our warehouse, there must be something that we can get for you.
If you want to pop into the shop to look at hires you’ll need to check our opening hours as these do change over Christmas, New Year and Halloween (you’ll need to be in the shop 1 hour before closing if you wish to be fitted!). Angels Fancy Dress hire collection is immense, and what we show on our site is just a small indication of the kind of things we can do, if you cannot see what you are looking for we will try to find it! You can contact us regarding hire at the link on the bottom of this text.
The hire service we offer is an individual service, tailored to meet your size, period and style requirements, it is not possible to organize hire over the Internet. Payment will be required on collection along with a credit card deposit, we are not able to post hire costumes.
Costumes are hired for a minimum of one week, at Christmas the Seasonal costumes only are available on a daily basis.
Our hire service is based at our Shaftesbury Avenue Shop where we have costumiers to prepare your costume for you. The costume staff will not be able to assist you with enquiries regarding purchases made on the site.
We may have to order in costumes for you to come and see (especially Uniforms) so do wait for our staff to advise you that what you want to see is available!
When you contact us please quote the name of one, or more of the costumes that you are interested in, this will give us a starting point. If you proceed with a hire we will need full measurements Height, chest/bust, waist, collar, head and shoe sizes. To start with a rough indication would help with your enquiry.
