Peel some wax from the tub.
Do not dig a lump out as it will be hard to work with.

Roll the wax into a sausage and then join the ends to make a ring of wax. Press the ring of wax into position; making sure the skin is clean and dry. Using a tiny bit of moisturiser on your fingertip (enough to stop the wax sticking to your finger and no more) blend the outside edges of the ring of wax, you should not be too precise as slightly rough edges look more realistic.

Hold your finger against the outside edge of the bullet hole and drag the tool from the inside towards the outside, the wax will work its way over the supporting finger, giving a ragged edge. You must use a finger to support the wound otherwise you'll pull it away from its position.

With the dropper on the blood bottle paint the inside rough edges of the wax and then add a little blood into the centre of the wound, take care not to over fill the bullet hole as it will just run out.

Our blood is very realistic and second to none. It will run slowly and eventually dry (drying time depends on how much blood you use!) so add only a small amount of blood - you can always add more once it has run its course.

Removal
To remove scrape the wax away with the spatula, any moisturiser or cleansing cream will remove any residue of wax, finally wash with soap and water.
